How do you stop your computer “going to sleep” after only about 5 mins of not using it?

Question by TEEG has a new bf so IN YOUR FACE!: How do you stop your computer “going to sleep” after only about 5 mins of not using it?
I’ve just got a new laptop, and it keeps switching itself off to save power after only like 5 mins of not using it. I keep going downstairs for a sec, then coming back and my internet connection is gone and i have to load it up all over again. It’s doing my head in! How do i change this setting, and make the time longer?

thanks
